Is it just me or is it getting too expensive to drive a car anymore?! Between the price of gas, the upkeep, the oil change, and the price of auto insurance makes it less desirable to own a car. My car insurance is up this month so I went searching for a new insurance company that would be less expensive than last year.

I have no tickets, no accidents, and no reason to be paying high prices. My sister went to a new insurance place to get low cost auto insurance and she has a huge history of accidents, tickets, etc. If she can get a better rate so can I, right?

All the hi-tech stuff out there on the market, do you have that? Do you got the cell-phone going on along with the GPS? How about 50+ inch TV? Are you keeping up with the people who seem to have it all? It’s not easy right?

I personally like my simple life. I have the GPS, a laptop, but not a 50+ Tv. We have a few LCD monitors and TV’s, but honestly I could care less about keeping up with the joneses. I just want my hosue to look nice.. I’d like a little leave it to beaver looking house!

Cell phones are now a way of life. Many people have learned they can’t live without their email, but now people are finding out they can’t live without their phones. I get news updates right to my phone.

I had stumbled onto SJA Mobil where you can sign up for news. Sports, entertainment, etc. I love it! Especially since I like to keep up to date with the latest news so that I can blog about it. Now I have it go right to my phone, and if I’m not home I save it as a text message and blog about it when I get home! Great site!

Today I went in and worked a few hours at the doctor’s office doing billing.  We had to rebill people who haven’t paid their bills since 2005.  It’s really crazy.  I know we are going to get a ton of nasty phone calls about people getting these bills.  I know I wouldn’t want a 3 year old bill either.

Tuesday after the holiday is just going to be a tough day for us.  I can hear the phones ringing now.  Well for now I am just going to let it be and enjoy my holiday weekend.  I will still be working, but atleast not going into the office.  Life is too short to bring work home with us.. or worry abou tthings nonstop.. *sigh*

My bestfriend Becca and her husband Dave are building a new home. They are doing a lot of it by themselves. The thing is they just called to tell me that the last rain the other day has caused a wet mess. I feel awful. I have totally been through it myself. In the previous home that I owened it had a bad basement issue. The basement would fill u\p with a ton of water causing an awful mildew smell, and MOLD. We had to throw away carpets, strip walls, spray cement blocks, etc. It was the most horrible thing to go through. Now poor Becca and Dave. to think that it’s all brand new cinderblocks, brand new wood, etc.. It’s all getting ruined. And ruined quickly.

I tried to hold it together when I spoke to her, but I started to cry. If there was anything that could go wrong for Becca and Dave it has, so this is just one more issue. She played it cool and told me about basement waterproofing sealer system. This is going to completely take care the issues they currently have with the water. I am really hoping this works. I want them to get this issue fixed quickly. Mold can be dangerous to live with and tough to cure. This may be the answer.

Now getting back to my own home updating that I’ve been working on.. *sigh*

So we were able to hire my nieces boyfriend to come over and help move a TON of stuff.  His help was REALLY appreciated.  He’s such a good kid.  Not a single complaint he just heeved and hoed and got it all moved.

That means we are that much closer to getting the house ready to move into.  So when is the big moving day.. ugh! I don’t know!!!! It’s getting closer then it was 4 months ago.. *smile* that’s not saying much, right?! hahaha..

Yes that word was intentionally spelled wrong, but you know who I am talking about! What if you could actually include a VIDEO of your product you want to sell? Think about it. You have this awesome gym, but it just looks like a hunk of metal. Put the video on and show all the things you can do with it. You know a little infomercial right in your auction!!

Check out video auctions to list your item with a video. People really want to see what your offering, and you can describe it till your blue in the face but really can you do it justice without them seeing the item? How can you see it when your on the other side of the US or other country? Now you can!! Sell that item that just wouldn’t sell on the other auction site!! Now you’ve got the advantage.

I think the new video classifieds are the way to go.  I am actually going to go back there now and sell my car. I’m going to make a video of my car to list. I think once they see the interior and see all the neat things, they will love it. I have a honda odyssey fully loaded, but I’m going to show off the kids watching their movies, and my oldest daughter playing her video game plugged into the video outlets in the back! I can’t wait! I have so many things I want to list, and could use the extra money! They PAY YOU to list!! What kind of place, will pay you to list? I am really excited. I have so many things that you really need to see in action, that a picture really isn’t enough. I have to run now and go clean out my basement to see what else I can sell. Maybe my boyfriend will help me video things to put up.

Throw in the towel.

No, no.. I’m just kidding!  Really though, I have so much junk going on.  What will I do to stay on top of it all.  My house is a pigpen.  I’m trying to pack, and get ready to move.  On top of it, I’m trying to fix up the new house.  This is tough.

I know there is a light at the end of the tunnel, but sometimes it’s really hard to see.  Freelancing from home, really doesn’t make it feel any better.  I just feel like there are not enough hours in the day.  ugh!

Today I have to go to Harry’s house, help move things around, paint, then come home and try and freelance a bit for money.  When will I have time for my 4 kids? My packing? My cleaning? omg! I can’t wait to see the light at the end of the tunnel.  NO wait! I can’t wait to be basking in the light that is at the end of the tunnel!

Alright, I have been running ragged.  I have been painting the inside of Harry’s house like crazy, and we have forgotten about the outside of the house.  The siding needs to be power washed, and then I really want to buy new exterior shutters.

I know what color I need, so I did an online search and came up with a few companies.  After much research, searching, and time.  I felt that this company named Larson shutter was the best.  They offer online order for quality wood or vinyl composite exterior shutters.  They also have the hardware needed.  All this and the kicker was the free shipping.  The other places online, charged an arm and a leg on shipping. 

Larson shutters comes highly recommended.  I can’t wait to receive my new shutters.  Then I will really feel the house is complete even with a few things still left to do inside.  It’s just shutters really change the look and feel of the entire house.

Remember the cat that we brought to my house and is really happy? Well I live in a condo complex.  I NEVER in the 1.5 years that I’ve lived her have EVER found a mouse or any droppings.  This darn cat found a mouse! Yuck! And she dropped it right where I would DEFINITELY see it.  This cat definitely left this present for me.  She’s such a good girl.  Right at my feet by my computer.  YAY! Go Mary Jane!

Yes that is her name, Mary Jane.  Remember she is a "foster" cat.  *sigh* No wonder she is so happy here.  She gets to do what she’s best at, I guess.  Omg. I can’t believe she caught this little mouse.  My boyfriend claims the mouse was recently pregnant and probably babies nearby.  Oh Help me!
